Cold Sore Home Remedies - These Work Like No Other Remedy
Interested in some cold sore home remedies? Those sores always pop up at the worst of times and they're not all that easy to hide. Not only are they unsightly, but they also hurt!
If you're sick and tired of the constant breakouts and want something that will finally get rid of them and do it quickly, these solutions are your best bet:
1. Use Bleach
One of the most potent cold sore home remedies involves the use of bleach. Bleach is a very powerful solution which if not used correctly might leave a mark, so be careful when using this tip.
To implement this, what you'll have to do is first dip a cotton swap in some water then dip that same swab right into some bleach, mixing the two like this will help to dilute the treatment. Next, squeeze out the tip of the swab to get out the extra fluid and place the swab on the cold sore.
This will sting, but if you leave the swab on the sore for around 3 minutes, it will work to stop it's development and help kill it off.
2. Peroxide Solution + Nail Polish Remover
OK, this one is pretty hardcore so again, be careful with it. What you have to do is first sterilize a needle under a flame then use it to break the skin on your cold sore so that you can drain it. After doing that, place some nail polish remover on the sore via a cotton swab and hold it there for half an hour.
After this, mix up some salt, peroxide and crushed Asprin, this will form the second part of the torture, I mean treatment. What you'll do is dip a Q-Tip into this and dab it onto the affected area and leave that on to dry. Next, head off to bed with this left on and when you get up the next day it should have shrunk down.
These cold sore home remedies are rough, there's no doubt about it and if you're not careful you might wind up with a little scar, be careful.
If you'd rather not subject yourself to this torture, it would be best not to try these, there are safer remedies which are just as effective if not more so. - 20759
