Here you either have to use one of the prepared baits containing metaldehyde. I try to apply it about every two weeks during the spring, particularly in shaded areas where there is a heavy mulch or around those plants that I find most likely to be damaged.

Slugs love plaintain lilies. I also now have a superior strain of slugs that developed a tremendous appetite for the tough evergreen leaves of my Lenten roses. Ants are easy to control now by dusting or spraying the surface of the ground with chlordane.

Lawn weeds are in their prime this month; they are really spreading. If you will use a specialized weed killer bought under one of the many named brands, you won't have to worry too much about the name of each weed since it will control most of those with broad leaves. However, if you have some that are resistant to it then you will want to check and find out what they are. Send a specimen to your agricultural experiment station or extension service for identification. For their sake, dry the specimen between newspapers for two or three days so that it wont be all shriveled and shattered by the time they see it.

A few weeds require specific methods of control. The experiment station will identify the weed for you and tell you if any control is available. Some of us feel that we could get along without chemical weed killers in the average size lawn by checking the area once a week and pulling up any little weed thats trying to get a start in life. It is amazing how little time this takes and how efficient it is. Get in the habit of walking back and forth across the lawn or keeping your eyes open as you mow it. Many states have excellent weed and lawn bulletins available. Ask your local county agricultural agent for a copy.

Their booth is piled high with the stuff and they have a massage chair crammed in there as well. Be careful, that the chair being offered wasn't just the last great deal he got. Because after the sale, the chair becomes your problem. They may not have a national technician service network or even parts on hand. Go with the major brands and you will not regret it!

5. I Can't Believe The Deal I Am Getting: Always remember, you get what you pay for. There were few peddlers that offered a $5,000 massage chair for $1,500 and came with a 5 year warranty. Wow! We couldn't believe it. This chair is made in Panasonic's factory! We tried to do the math. Free shipping, long warranty and cheap price. They can't be making any money! How could we resist? Most likely we would have bought into a series of frustrating future problems and be left with a boat anchor in our living room.

Fold them nicely and place them on a shelf. This will save you time when looking for items and also give you more space in the closet for other items.

Adding shelving to a room will also provide you with more space on tables. Walls usually are just loaded with picture frames or even other hanging objects to just create dcor into a room's style. Why not add a few unique shelving units and add your collectables on these. It will give you space but also create a great style instead of a traditional picture.

Wall space is another area that largely goes ignored. People think that walls are only good for decoration and never think about all of the possibilities of using walls to store items. We could easily hang pots, pans, and utensils on the walls, clearing up room both in our drawers and cabinets. With this space open, more room can be made for other kitchen items which could be simply piled on the counter tops and crammed into drawers.

Area rugs are always a plus in many homes. Many owners will purchase a few and change them every so often for a great new look but where do you store them afterwards? Well there are a few easy places where you can place them. Either roll them up and place them in a closet or under the bed. Another great spot is in the garage which holds everything else. Designate a space just for the rugs in a corner. It won't take up much room and they are easy to access when it's time to switch them.
